Open NeckTune, allow microphone access, and pluck a single string. The app shows the note, and the needle tells you if you're sharp (right), flat (left), or in tune (center). Tune until the needle sits in the middle.
The app isn't detecting my guitar.
Make sure microphone access is enabled: iPhone/iPad Settings → NeckTune → Microphone. Play one string at a time, fairly close to the device, in a quiet room.
I bought "Remove Ads" but the ads came back (new phone or reinstall).
Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the screen, signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with. Your purchase will be restored at no charge.
Does NeckTune record my playing?
No. Audio is analyzed live on your device only and is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. See our Privacy Policy.
Which guitars does it work with?
Standard 6-string tuning (E A D G B e) on both acoustic and electric guitars.
